Pay payment reminder system
The Secure Pay payment reminder system is installed in your
vehicle to advise you of the status of your loan payments and to let you
know when payment is due. A light on the device provides this information.
Green
When payment is made and and the proper code is entered, the device turns
green until the day before your next payment is due.
Amber
On the day before your next payment is due the light will change from
green to amber.
Red
The light will turn red on the day your payment is due.
Flashing Red
A flashing red light means that your payment is overdue and you are in
the grace period. A monthly payment and late payment fee are now required
to get a code.

Flashing Red & Beeping
The light will flash red and sound a beep warning that payment is overdue
and that the vehicle will be disabled at 11:59 PM. Your payment is overdue
and you are past the grace period. Your full payment and a late payment
fee are now required to get a code.
Disable
If payment is not made and a code is not entered, the vehicle will now
become disabled. Your payment is overdue and your car will not start.

Entering codes
into secure pay box
When payment is made a six digit code will be received. This code will
need to be entered into Secure Pay keypad. With key in off position, push
the numbers on the Secure Pay keypad one digit at a time. If the code
is correctly entered, the lights will turn green and make a chirping sound.
The lights will stay green until your next payment is due.
What to do if you have problems
entering the code
If the light does not turn green after the code is entered, there are
several possible reasons;
1) Turn the ignition key on and then off. Confirm that the key is in the
off position when entering the code. Taking the key out of the ignition
will ensure that the key is off.
2) All six numbers must be entered without delay. If there is a long pause
between entries, the code may not be recognized.
3) Numbers must be entered in correct order. Sometime people accidentally
press the buttons in the wrong order. Verify the code and the order before
re-entering..
You must wait 20 seconds before re-entering the code. If the light does
not turn green after re-entering it, then wait another 20 seconds and
press the 3 button and the 4 button at the same time until you hear a
beep, then release the buttons and re-enter the code.
If it still does not turn green, then call us at (315) 487-2630 and confirm
that you have correct code.
Insurance Codes
will make the box beep between payments
If the box starts beeping between payments there may be an insurance code
due. If this happens call (315) 487-2630 between 8:30am and 5:00 pm. Ask
if insurance code is due.
Reminder
of Payment Hours
Buy Here Pay Here payments are accepted only during our normal office
hours from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday (except holidays). As
a convenience, payments can be made by credit card over the phone at (315)
487-2630.
If the indicator of your Secure Pay box is red, please immediately make
your payment during these hours to ensure that your vehicle does not disable.
Please understand that we can not take payments outside of these hours,
please do not ask us to do so. If you are unable to make your full payment
on time, then you must purchase a PATCH code to ensure that your vehicle
does not disable.
